How to keep your eyes looking beautiful?

The best way to make out a person's real age is to look at the person's eyes. It also means that if you are not taking care of your eyes you will start looking older than your real age.
A tired face with dark circles and wrinkles under the puffy eyes ofcourse makes you look old.Here is a quick help on the routine you can follow on daily basis to keep your eyes beautiful.

1. Rest: Sleep is very important. Most of the dark circle will reduce just by good sound sleep. If your job requires you to use computer for long hours then it is a good idea to take 10-15 minutes breaks every 2 hours. Splash your face with water and sit in a relaxed manner with eyes closed.

2. Eat right: I cannot emphasize on this more. I have been talking about it all through my blog (my readers know this one)

3. Figure of eight massage: Take a drop of olive oil on your finger tips and massage around the eye brows and cheek bones in a figure of eight manner for 2 minutes(keeping away from eye balls) every night before sleeping.

4. Tanning and puffiness of eyes: Grate a raw potato and apply the juice gently over closed eye lids taking care that it does not enter your eyes.Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash off.

If your skin is looking lifeless this is what you could be missing!

Skin reflects your overall health. If you have a lifeless skin these are some of the possible reasons:

1. Lack of proper nutrition: If you are not taking a well balanced diet, it will reflect on your skin. Make sure you include a lot of green vegetables and fruits in your diet. Taking a glass of fresh fruit/ vegetable juice a day is a good idea. Don't worry about which fruit as long as it is a seasonal fruit/ vegetable and is fresh and without preservatives.

2. Lack of proper sleep: If you have been sleeping late or not getting enough sleep you will not only get dark circles but also fine wrinkles around the most sensitive part of your skin ie., around your eyes. Make sure you take atleast 8 hours of good deep sleep every night.Do't avoid sleep by taking tea or coffee, that is the worst way to kill the healing effect sleep whats to give you when you are tired.

3. Dehydration: If you have been drinking less water you will see your skin sag and become very dry. Using a mosturiser is a good thing but it will not make up for the hydration your skin needs. You can improve this only by drinking enough water everyday.

4. Stress: This is surely one of the key reasons you have started looking a bit older than your age. Live like a child (carefree) to also look like one (not literally but definitely younger than your age). Thats antiaging 101.

5. Experimenting with skin treatments: Have you tried the latest cream/ lotion in the market. If you have definitely done that then you have been doing much torture to your skin. Skin cannot look great by applying vitamins/ minerals on it. Best way to get them to work for your skin is to include them in your diet regularly. Stop experimenting with all those things they will only go much harm to your skin and make you hunt for another product to undo the harm and the cycle never ends.

Skin is only a reflection of what you are inside as a person, body and mind. Give yourself some love and it will reflect in your personality definitely.

How to grow healthy eyebrows and eyelashes?

Eyelashes and eyebrows are an essential part of you face. No matter how beautiful you are , if your eyebrows and eyelashes are not healthy you will not look your best. Now the question is what to do for them.
Actually speaking if you have healthy scalp hair, your eyebrows and eyelashes will also grow healthy. You can try some of these tips to get the black lustrous eyelashes and eyebrows back:

Anti-aging face mask - easy and simple!

I have a new face mask recipie that you can use on on your face and neck . It has natural ingredients with anti-aging and skin conditioning effects. So lets get started..

Take two spoons of multani mitti (you can easily buy it from an Indian store near you). In a mortar take one spoon of uncooked rice. Now add a pinch of turmeric powder to it. Add two spoons of lemon juice to the rice and mix all these ingredients and grind it with the pestle. Grind till the rice breaks into small pieces. Now use the liquid part from the rice mix and use it to make a paste with the multani mitti. Make a thick paste of multani mitti using the liquid essence drained from rice mix (add water if required) . Apply a thick layer of this paste on your face and neck. Let it dry completely. Wash off with plain water and pat dry with a clean towel.

You will see a sheen on your skin. your skin will look more brighter, hydrated and fine lines will just disappear!
